CHSA: Seeking applicants for the 2022 CHSA Undergraduate Bursary
The search for three motivated and talented young people to receive financial support from the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association’s 2022 Undergraduate Bursary is now on.
The successful applicants will join the 14 young people who have already benefited from the financial support. The Bursary is £4,500. It is paid in three installments, £1,500 being paid at the beginning of each academic year or the first three years if the degree is longer.

News from the CHSA: Exceptional Conformance to Accreditation Schemes in 2021
Buyers of cleaning and hygiene products can continue to rely on the guarantee of the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers Association’s (CHSA) Accreditation Scheme mark following exceptional compliance during 2021.
The CHSA’s Independent Inspector conducted 143 audits during the year, inspecting every member of the CHSA. More than 3,800 individual items were checked across all the Schemes making sure “what’s on the box is what’s in the box”.
Gove praised for cladding plan but urged to go further
The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) has praised Housing Minister Michael Gove for “taking the initiative” and trying to address the growing cladding scandal but warned that his new plan would not completely solve the problem.
The Minister has warned developers that they must address fire safety issues in buildings between 11 and 18 metres in height – usually between four and seven storeys – or face legal action. Currently, only buildings above 18m qualify for government support to rectify historic cladding defects.
