WarwickNet is an independent Tier 2 Internet Service Provider who delivers high speed connectivity solutions to businesses located on business parks, industrial estates, metropolitan areas and multi-tenancy buildings.

WarwickNet specialise in national and international, highly bespoke MPLS networks for corporates, broadcasting and data network, and backhaul services for other Internet Service Providers. The company also have an extensive presence on a large number of Business Parks and Industrial Estates throughout the wider Midlands, where we deliver superfast broadband and high-capacity leased lines.

Using our strong independent network based on a 10 Gbit/s core with multiple pop locations in London, the Midlands and Manchester, we implement a mixture of technologies including Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC), Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) and Sub-Loop-Unbundling (SLU) to bring high speed Internet to your business.

Management Team

Ben King, Chief Executive

Ben is WarwickNet’s Chief Executive and a young entrepreneur who set up his first business, a web development company in 1998, upon graduation from the University of Warwick.

He developed the concept of WarwickNet in 2008 at the Venture Centre, within the University of Warwick Science Park, where he began selling connectivity to other tenants in the park. The company has been going from strength to strength ever since, aspiring to come to the rescue of over 200 poorly connected parks by 2017.

Steve Glendinning, Chief Technical Officer

Steve joined WarwickNet in its early days and is now heading the technical team, responsible for running and expanding WarwickNet’s core network.

With a background in network architecture and embedded software, Steve has been developing technology and network solutions to a wide range of industry sectors including international motor manufacturers and Formula 1 teams. Steve is also the author of the Ethernet driver for the Raspberry Pi.

Jon Earnshaw, Chief Operating Officer

Jon has been involved in business Internet services since the mid-90s when he went on from running a Midlands-based ISP to becoming Sales & Marketing Director of ZetNet one of the earliest and most renowned national UK Internet Service Providers.

Before joining WarwickNet and returning to the ISP industry, Jon spent 10 years in enterprise software development.
