VES Andover Ltd

With the end of the summer we now look forward to helping our customers avoid the pitfalls of frost damage to ventilation units and especially coils. It pays to avoid complacency and book one of our ‘VES Winter Health Checks’.

Ensure that your ventilation units and your business do not get caught out by Jack Frost.

Temperatures are dropping rapidly, presenting risks to HVAC equipment and the business premises they heat. VES can help you avoid the pitfalls of frost damage to ventilation units and especially coils.

VES Specialist Site Services can operate on all makes of equipment. We can inspect, repair, refurbish and ensure your HVAC equipment is ready for the winter.

With minimum working temperatures for staff, think of the costs to your business of any downtime due to a simple coil failure. Not only can we ensure you avoid such a scenario, we can check out the general health of your unit(s) and recommend the most economical solutions.

Minimum Working Temperatures
Strenuous Work = 13°C
Other Work = 16°C

Specialist Site Services
VES Specialist Site Services can also offer a wide range of services to help your company. For buildings with faulty and ageing ventilation plant the choice is to repair, refurbish or replace.

Refurbishment

Working on any make or model of air handling product, VES can quickly get a failed unit up and running again, and propose and implement a plan of action to refurbish the unit to make it reliable again, and considerably extend its life. This might include new dampers, filter section, heating and cooling coil upgrade, fans and motors, controls, compressors etc. Case corrosion can be removed and new framework and panelling fitted as necessary.

Refurbishment of ventilation equipment, especially larger or complex units, can often be done at a fraction of the cost of replacement, with minimum disruption. Alternatively, VES can replace the unit, building it on site if necessary due to space constraints.

Flat Pack Installation
Flat pack installation of air handling units and other VES products can result in big savings, including builders work costs, crane hire, road closure and out of normal hours working. VES will build your air-handling unit in difficult locations and take full responsibility in ensuring the plant is correctly assembled.

Noise Problems
Specialist Site Services are also experts at solving noise problems associated with ventilation equipment. This includes noise from plant that may be a problem to people nearby, or within the conditioned space.

Kitchen Ventilation
Another area of expertise is kitchen ventilation. Not only do VES build a wide range of fans for high temperature polluted air, Site Services can supply or extend existing hood systems, including canopies, plus odour control, control panels etc., and advise on make-up air requirements.

Maintenance
An easy way of making the energy savings & extending life of expensive equipment is through regular maintenance. VES offer this maintenance across our own and other manufacturer’s units. Essential maintenance with critical plant in kitchens, hospital or process work can be carried out to specific schedules, designed to minimise disruption and eliminate downtime.

On all new equipment supplied or work carried out by us VES offers an extended warranty when a maintenance agreement is taken out. For duct cleaning a free survey prior to quoting can be carried out, or a budget can be given and then a firm price offered.

Vanguards Power

Vanguards Power (VP) is a leader in design, development and manufacture of 3rd Generation Power Optimisation Systems. VP Systems use state-of-the-art computer control to regulate and stabilise all incoming voltage into any building or site.

All VP Single and 3 Phase Systems have our unique Dynamic Digital Voltage Control (DDVC) system. Output Voltage settings can be changed by the User at any time without site power interruption – which further increases energy savings, more than any other Power or Voltage Optimisation System in the World.

VP range of single and 3 Phase Power Optimisation Systems are called: PropSava and LiteSava.

Where Sites experience main voltage delivery over 220V phase voltage (380V line voltage) electrical equipment is overpowered; power is wasted and all electrical equipment suffers premature failure with reduced life expectancy.
